I'm April — a founder crafting the future of trust-based industries.
I spent the early part of my career inside high-velocity environments, studying how people make decisions, how markets move, and how technology reshapes behavior.
Most recently, I helped scale the GTM engine at Whatnot, where I learned what happens when you pair deep trust with modern infrastructure — and what becomes possible when you close the gap between the two.
Today, I’m building Rove Systems, the financial and operational backbone for rural commerce, starting with livestock markets. I spend a lot of time in sale barns across Texas — observing the invisible mechanics that keep trust-based economies running. Those hours have shaped my belief that the next decade of innovation will come from the places people overlook.
This site is where I write about the journey: the ideas, mental models, and real-time lessons that come from building in a space that hasn’t changed in generations.
My work centers on three things: founder psychology, customer truth, and the modernization of overlooked markets.
If you’re building something ambitious in fintech, rural commerce, or beyond — I’d love to connect.
